Happy New Year 2026 & Save the Date for Tết (Feb 7)!
Hello all and Happy New Year!
We are so thankful for the year that was 2025 and coming together in so many meaningful ways with the Vietnamese-Edmonton community.
We have much to share about our upcoming Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau plans 2026 but for this update we want to share a ‘Save the Date’ for the Edmonton Vietnamese Association’s Tết Lunar New Year event taking place on Satuday, February 7, 2026!
Vietnatmese Tết Lunar New Year Save the Date featuring a photo of The Villa by Nerval Group event space!
Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau has been working together with the Edmonton Viets Association and newly elected city councillor Thu Parmer (the first Vietnamese City Councillor in Edmonton) to help plan the Feb 7, 2026 Vietnatmese Tết Lunar New Year event! There will be both FREE daytime activities and performances as well as a TICKETED evening concert/entertainment event.
This annual celebration has been running since we were all children. Many of us have memories taking in Tết festivities with our families growing up. Long are the days where we would all gather at the Shaw Conference Centre and watch Paris By Night singers woo the audience. This year there is a new location, some mainstay performances and new culinary faces and vendors!
Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau cannot wait to help bring the Vietnamese community together at the EVA event, supporting with some fresh activities and new vendors!
Stay tuned for more information about the Feb 7, 2026 celebration.
Until then, see our poster below for event details!
